Now you have a choice of: Canada Code 6 RF Safety Awareness, RF 1008 (English) or RF1008F (En Français)!
The Canada Safety Code 6 course is an overview of the purpose and rationale of the code, specifically outlining what electromagnetic radiation is and where RF fields fall within the radiation spectrum. This introduction also provides a comprehensive understanding of what literature indicates as the health impacts from human exposure to RF fields and how these possible health effects have been utilized in the establishment of the current exposure limits. This is the most important section of this course as it details what the Canadian exposure limits are and demonstrates consistency with the scientific-based standards used in other parts of the world. This course is intended for anyone who may come in contact with radio frequency exposure on the job especially the telecommunications industry regarding rooftop and tower workers.
Workers trained in as little as one hour. TRAINING IS OSHA COMPLIANT.
You are liable for fines if RF site workers are untrained when OSHA visits.
Worse, many carriers and turf contractors will not permit your crews on site
without current RF training certification!
