April 26, 2000 (Greenville, NC) – Richardson Electronics, a leading distributor of transmitter and studio products, has been appointed as a worldwide distributor for LBA Technology, Inc.

LBAT has 35 years experience designing and manufacturing highly specialized medium wave (AM) antenna systems – including antenna tuning units, directional antenna phasing systems, transmitter combiners, folded unipole antennas, diplexers, triplexers, transportable antenna systems and high power RF components.

Additionally, LBAT has the capability of designing and implementing turnkey transmitting facilities worldwide.

“The addition of LBAT to our linecard is another significant stride in Richardson’s commitment to provide broadcast customers with quality solutions,” said Gustavo Figueiredo, Broadcast Business Unit Manager for Richardson Electronics. “In addition, customers will be able to take full advantage of LBAT’s experience and dedication to quality and Richardson’s logistic and design-in expertise.”
