LBA Offers New Software Upgrade for Trewmac RF Analyzers

The affordable series of Trewmac impedance/vector network analyzers gain new and improved features.

LBA Technology, Inc., a unit of LBA Group, Inc., announced that a new free software upgrade is available for all models of the TE Series of Trewmac analyzers. The upgrade brings more features and problem solving capabilities to the engineering toolbox where reliable impedance and network analysis is required.

The latest in the TE Series is the TE3002, but this new software upgrade will also improve the capabilities of the TE3001, TE3000, and the legacy TE1000. Some of the new benefits of this latest software release include:• New “Q-factor” utility – for fast and easy characterization of band stop and band pass filters.• New trace configuration menu – to manage trace color and conveniently hide/show them in one easy window.• Additional Smith charts and polar charts.• Improved Windows 7 and 8 installation.• New remote control window – to read and write all analyzer parameters.• User Preferences Auto-save• European usability option to avoid the comma vs period problem.

The TE series of portable field and desktop analyzers is the result of manufacturer Trewmac Systems Pty Ltd working several years to improve upon the highly successful TE1000.
