Multivision of Monterrey Engineers visit LBA Technology and Voice of America
On July 26, 2011 LBA received the visit of Engineers Eric Garza, Olivia Falcon and Ramon Baca of Multivision of Monterrey Mexico who as part of the Tour of Factories organized by LBA Representative 305 Broadcast Inc previously visited the Wheatstone Factory in New Bern NC and continued their visit to the LBA facilities in Greenville NC. Lawrence Behr CEO and Chris Horne Chief Technical Engineer welcomed the visitors and Javier Castillo Director of Broadcast Sales gave them a presentation about our product lines and show them our factory where they were able to see a current production of a diplexer system bound for a client in Mexico. Eng. Baca mentioned that he has installed 3 of LBA Tunipole Antennas in Mexico.
Due to the good relations of LBA Technology with the folks at Voice of America it was possible to organize a visit to VOA site B where Eric, Olivia and Ramon were given a tour of the facilities by Macon Dail . The visitors were able to observe first hand the 250 kW and 500 kW short wave transmitters that VOA uses to broadcast to the rest of the world using 39 shortwave antennas installed in a 2,800 acres field.
