NATE Unite 2015 RF Safety Training

LBA Group, Inc. (LBA) announced that its safety training unit, LBA University, Inc., (LBAU) was selected by the National Association of Tower Erectors (NATE) to lead two of the 20 educational sessions offered at the upcoming NATE Unite 2015. This is the premier conference and expo for tower and communications professionals.

LBA Chief Technical Officer, Dr. Chris Horne, PE and LBAU Safety Training Coordinator, Stacey Moore will present two Radio Frequency (RF) Safety Awareness training sessions at the event. The training sessions will delve into a host of critical topics, including the FCC’s Maximum Permissible Exposure (MPE) standards, OSHA and industry standards, and the use of personal RF monitors. The training has been specially created for NATE by LBAU training experts.

NATE is providing the RF Safety Awareness training as part of a series of educational opportunities at the four day conference and expo taking place February 23 – 26, 2015 in Lake Buena Vista, FL. The two sessions RF Safety Awareness sessions are on Thursday, February 26 at 7:30 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. Attendees must reserve their spot in one of the RF Safety Awareness sessions or any of the other educational sessions as part of their NATE Unite 2015 registration.

“Our outstanding educational sessions are specifically designed to provide in-depth interaction and exchange of ideas on the challenging issues facing the telecommunications and broadcast tower construction, service and maintenance industry,” NATE Chairwoman, Pat Cipov said.

NATE Unite 2015 is being hosted at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort. Several thousand attendees are expected and over 100 companies will fill the exhibit hall. LBA invites attendees to visit booth #216 where they can register to win a free LBAU safety training course and meet LBA personnel. The LBA booth will also feature information about LBA’s other business units, LBA Technology, Inc. and Lawrence Behr Associates, Inc.
