Just before the start of the 2007 NAB Radio Show in late September, LBA Technology developed two innovative products.

On the floor at the Radio Show’s exposition, we featured the new CAMI(TM) microwave isocoupler and our new RF vacuum contactor.

The CAMI(TM) series of new-concept broadband medium-power isocouplers provides for the mounting of other antennas on “hot” AM towers. CAMI systems isolate single auxiliary broadcast coaxial cables for STL’s, FM translators, low-power FM and television translators. Breaking the barriers of the traditional isocoupler, one CAMI fits all of these applications. Another advantage to this new system is that it can pass AC or DC current to tower top amplifiers and are more resistant to weather and lightning.
