LBA Group, Inc. Announces Strategic Alliance with ATC to Optimize Colocation Value on Mexican Towers
Greenville, NC – November 2, 2000 – The LBA Group, Inc. (“LBA”) has established a strategic alliance with American Tower Corporation (“ATC”) to support the marketing, engineering and construction of communications and broadcast colocation facilities on towers in Mexico controlled by ATC.
LBA has significant ties to the Mexican broadcast and communications community where ATC controls the colocation rights on a number of towers. LBA will provide project management, engineering services, and all other services necessary to assist and support ATC interests in Mexico.
Lawrence Behr, Chairman and CEO of The LBA Group, Inc. was recently in Mexico City attending the Chamber of the Industry of Radio and TV (CIRT) to promote the development and use of the tower facilities within the Mexican radio broadcasting industry as sites for wireless communications facilities throughout Mexico. After meeting with many of the broadcasters at the conference, Mr. Behr said “I have heard nothing but enthusiasm from them. It is exciting to participate in the introduction of ATC colocation systems in Mexico.”
