George Named Vice President of Domestic Sales
Greenville, NC, 4 June 2007 –- John George has been named Vice President of Domestic Sales at LBA Technology, Inc. George will be responsible for all sales in the US. LBA Technology, Inc. is an international supplier of medium wave broadcast equipment including directional antenna systems, antenna tuning units, multiplexers, combiners, cellular/PCS colocation isocouplers, and RF components.

John George has worked in radio broadcasting for over 35 years, first as a disc jockey moving later in programming, sales, engineering and station ownership. For over 25 years he has provided technical services to many South Carolina radio stations. For the past three years, he served as Regional Sales Manager-Radio for Dielectric Communications in the Southeast. Previously he worked for Harris Corporation for six years as a District Sales Manager for Radio RF and studio equipment.
He is co-chairman of the South Carolina Broadcasters Association Engineering Committee and serves as chairman of the S.C. Emergency Communications Committee that oversees the Emergency Alert System. George spearheaded the development of the SCBA’s Alternative Broadcast Inspection Program and serves as a technical consultant for the S. C. AMBER Alert Program. He is a member of AFCCE and the SBE.
