David Horn, Wireless/New Media Specialist, Joins LBA Group Biz Development Office
GREENVILLE, NC Oct. 18, 2012 – An award-winning technical and marketing professional has joined LBA Group Inc. to enhance the company’s business development programs. David T. Horn adds his marketing expertise to the office of Mike Britner, LBA’s vice president for sales. He will be leveraging LBA’s wireless industry compliance and risk management programs to better support clients like Sprint, Verizon, AT&T and tower industry providers.
Horn comes to LBA after eight years as morning news anchor and technical specialist at North Carolina News Network. Besides his on-air responsibilities—which included writing and producing the broadcasts—Horn managed engineering services for the statewide news network. He also developed website, audio and social media platforms for the network.
The quality of Horn’s work is indicated by eight straight years (2004-11) of top awards for his work from the Associated Press and the Radio Television Digital News Association of the Carolinas.
After graduation from the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill with a bachelor degree in radio and television, Horn’s career has included being assistant program director at Clear Channel Communications as well as radio producer, and marketing and public relations director at several North Carolina communications companies.
“David has three decades of communications and new media experience and has earned a roomful of awards for his work,” says Britner. “He brings an extra dimension of professional success to this office. As we celebrate our 50th year, LBA Group is on the move and David gives us additional momentum.”
