Webinar to Cover Key Topics on Human Exposure to RF Energy

Wireless Expert, Chris Horne leads RF Safety Webinar

This RF Safety Training Webinar is set for May 15, 2014 from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. EDT. LBA’s Chief Technical Officer, Dr. Chris Horne, PE is expected to cover basic and intermediate topics on human exposure to RF energy.

Dr. Horne is a recognized expert in the U.S. wireless industry. He leads all technical activities at LBA in wireless consulting, medium wave engineering, FCC compliance and RF Risk Management and safety. He holds a PhD in Electrical Engineering and a Master of Science Degree. He is a licensed Professional Engineer and a member of the IEEE, RCA, and the Association of Federal Communications Consulting Engineers (AFCCE). He was named among the top 100 wireless experts for 2014. He has authored a number of publications and has the unique ability to relate effectively with people at all levels.

The one hour webinar will touch on a number of issues related to RF safety around various environments, including communications towers, roof-top antennas, fixed and mobile antennas, and equipment that is sometimes overlooked as RF producers. Dr. Horne will also cover FCC guidelines, OSHA regulations, industry standards and parameters established by various agencies.
