RF Antenna Components

AVAILABLE: RF Inductors, Isolation Coils, Plugs and Jacks, Bus Bars, Corona Rings, and Cyclometers.

INDUCTORS: Ratings to 250 Amp at 200 Microhenry, voltage ratings in excess of 100KV. Copper or aluminum construction, silver plating available.

ISOLATION COILS: Slotted copper or aluminum tubing construction to 200 Microhenry at 100 KV, silver plating available. Outdoor pad mount coils permit multiple coaxial cables to 1/2 inch to be fed across high voltage tower bases without tuning.

PLUGS AND JACKS: Multiple silver plated spring contacts support currents to 250 Amps at voltage ratings of 60 KV. These devices permit interruption and reconfiguring of circuits, as well as access for metering and impedance measurements.

CYCLOMETERS: These unique devices incorporate a crank and digital turns counter and are intended to mount directly to a "hot" variable vacuum or gas capacitor. Rated to 20 inch/pounds of torque, the cyclometers fit a wide range of capacitors. The mechanism is fully enclosed in a corona ring and is rated in excess of 70 KV.

HARDWARE: High voltage, high current interconnection bus bars with low voltage gradients, corona rings of various sizes, and high voltage insulators are supplied. Feedthrough insulators are rated to 500 KV and 1000 Amps.

ENCLOSURES: Modular steel buildings with full interior copper lining are available to accommodate antenna tuning units to 1000 KW. Buildings can be equipped with amenities such as air conditioning, utility electrical systems, storage rooms, and interlock/lockout provisions. They are fully ocean shippable. Enclosures can also be fully fitted with ATU components, and site commissioning is available.
