The Turn-EZ™ Patient Turning System:

For years, persons requiring long-term bed confinement have suffered from discomfort, injury and complications such as pressure ulcers (bedsores). This is often the result of less than optimal turning practices due to the difficulties in efficient and careful handling of immobile patients.

Likewise, manual turning of patients has been a serious problem for caregivers. The difficulties of turning patients, especially the heavy or elderly, result in caregiver or patient injury. Frequently, professional assistance and multiple personnel are required to minimize these turning problems.

Unfortunately, the cost realities of overcoming these constraints often limit turning patients.

Now, for the first time, a convenient, reasonably priced, mechanical patient turning system is available. The Turn-EZ™ is the answer to a caregivers’ dreams! The Turn-EZ™ takes the work and worry out of patient turning!   back to top

UHF/Microwave RF Antenna Systems:

Portable 800mHz Log Periodic Antennas

Transportable Cellular Antenna Kit

-Boosts Coverage 100% or More
-Two Antennas in One - Short Range and Long Range
-Complete Kit
-Easy to Carry - Only 4.5 Kilos

The C-80RBS® dual antenna kit is specifically designed for remote broadcasting applications. It is also useful for any cellular user who needs maximum range—real estate agents, contractors, sportsmen and others. The kit includes the antenna which features selectable antenna pattern (11dB gain for distance, 3dB gain for close-in). The distance mode antenna uses log periodic dipole technology for broad bandwidth. Antenna elements are sealed in low-loss plastic for durability and weather resistance. When used with the supplied 25 foot cable and connectors, ERP is 7 watts to comply with FCC rules.

A ten foot black anodized finish tripod mast is furnished to support the antenna above crowds for maximum coverage and to minimize disturbance to signals from its surroundings. A low-loss 3.6 meter coaxial cable is furnished to connect to Cellcast RBS-400® broadcast units, cellular mobiles and bag phones. The complete system can be installed in minutes from the convenient zippered nylon storage bag. Two compartments hold all components in a compact package (76cm X 36cm) which weighs under 4.5kg.

The unique construction of the C-80RBS® antenna unit permits highly visible user identification to be included. If desired, radio station call letters and company logos can actually be built into the antenna—for lifetime protection under durable clear Lexan. Alternatively, the antenna side panels can be attractively silk screened with your choice of artwork before assembly.

An optional mounting bracket and cable for permanent installation in press boxes, transmitter sites, construction sites, guard stations, or other locations is also available.   back to top

OMNI HORIZONTAL & VERTICAL 2500mHz ANTENNAS

FEATURES:

-EMERGENCY MMDS REPLACEMENT/STANDBY
-SITE TEST USE
-COMPACT DESIGN
-EASY INSTALLATION
-2000 WATTS POWER CAPABILITY
-OMNI OR CARDIOID PATTERN
-LOW COST

Designed to operate in the 2500-2700 mHz band, the WT-2000 series of wireless cable microwave antennas has the ability to handle the full power of a 30 channel 100 Watt wireless cable system. With its compact size and low cost, this antenna can serve as an ideal low-gain temporary antenna should the main transmitting antenna be damaged by lightning or other problems.

Extremely lightweight, the WT-2000 can be carried up a tower and installed directly on the coaxial cable at the input of the damaged antenna. The unit does not need to be permanently attached to the tower.

The light weight and portability of the WT-2000 series antennas also make them ideal for temporary tower installations useful in the testing of propogation or proposed site coverage. The broad vertical beamwidth eliminates costly and critical alignment of the transmit beam. back to top

DIRECTIONAL 2500mHz ANTENNAS

FEATURES:

-VERSATILE MMDS BOOSTER -FILL-IN ANTENNA
-SELECTION OF DIRECTIONAL -PATTERNS
-COMPACT DESIGN
-EASY INSTALLATION
-200 WATTS POWER
-BROAD VERTICAL BEAM
-ECONOMICAL

Designed to operate in the 2500-2700 mHz band, the Beamshooter WB-200 series of wireless cable microwave antennas is intended for booster and fill-in applications. These broadband antennas use the benefits of wide vertical beamwidth and low gain to enable superior short range fill-ins of terrain-shadowed portions of wireless cable coverage areas. Three radiation patterns are available for half-moon, cardioid or spotbeam coverage. A deep null to the rear of the antenna provides a notch in which the pick-up antenna can be placed.

Compact and lightweight, the Beamshooter WB-200 series of fill-in antennas can be installed easily on a light duty mast. Furthermore, the wide vertical beam makes installation stability non-critical. The antennas, completely weather-proof to ensure long life, are furnished in sky blue paint so that installation can be unobtrusive even in residential areas.   back to top

The StrikeMaster Line:

LBA Technology, Inc. has developed and had limited production on a line of high quality 50-ohm quarter-wave stub coaxial lightning protection devices. This technology also includes a "Bias-T" power inserter.

The product line is primarily intended for use with type N and UHF connectors, but can be readily migrated to DIN or other connector formats. Designs have been prototyped for versions incorporating low-loss cable interfaces. Models have been documented to perform in the 100 to 3000 MHz region. No known competition offers such devices below 500 MHz. The units are exceptionally rugged in design and have a number of features not found in other product lines.

The product package includes manufacturing drawings, parts lists and sources, samples and test data and methods.   back to top
