The frequency standard FNX-GPS supplies an output signal of 10 MHz with an accuracy and stability determined by the standard time on the GPS satellite system. The frequency is monitored and adjusted by continuous omparison with the time markers on the GPS satellites. The comparison times have been selected such that even in poor conditions, compliance with the technical data for the frequency standard FNX-GPS is ensured. Due to the worldwide availability of the GPS satellite signals, the instrument can be used anywhere.

Frequency Standard FNX-GPS
A standard frequency is supplied from this module to common-frequency transmitters and television transmitters with precision offset; this standard frequency ensures minimal frequency deviations. For common-frequency transmitters with digital modulation, such as radio and television channels, the timing signal synchronous with UTC is also prvided as a time stamp.

Adequate safeguards are also provided in case of a possible reception problem. The OCXO has a large timing reserve that can cover enough time until the malfunction has been rectified.
