Non-Woven Design Provides Superior EMI / RF Protection

SM-10 non-woven shielding fabrics are constructed of random formations of individual fibers with no specific mesh opening size, blended together in multiple layers. This design eliminates any open slots, preventing EMI / RF leakage. It also ensures a tight EMI / RF seal at seams, connections, and terminations.

SM-10 is a unique, non-woven copper fabric manufactured using a patented technology.  This technology combines a highly conductive metal with the lightweight , flexibility, and breathability of a non-woven fabric.  SM-10 RF shielding fabric offers excellent surface conductivity, shielding effectiveness, and reflectivity for the widest variety of applications.

In architectural applications, SM-10 is applied to walls, ceilings, floors, and other surfaces with a high quality vinyl wall covering adhesive.

Available Formats

SM-10a - SM-10a is a copper nonwoven fabric that is best used in climate-controlled environments.

SM-10b - SM-10b is a nickel/copper nonwoven fabric that can be used for all applications except direct exposure to weather.

SM-10c - SM-10c is a nickel/copper woven fabric for specialized applications in connection with SM-10a and SM-10b materials.

EMI / RF Shielding Paints

For shielding of walls, ceilings and floors.  These RF shielding paints are electro-conductive coatings for the protection against high-frequency (HF) radiation and (or) against low-frequency (LF) electric fields.  Typical areas of application are living areas (e. g. bedrooms, nurseries, living rooms), or the protection of whole buildings.

Areas of application

Living areas: Protection against HF-radiation from cell phone towers, TV and radio broadcasting antennas, radar, digital standard cordless telephones and wireless networks, etc. Protection against low-frequency electric fields from power supply lines, etc.

Industry: To prevent interception of data from wireless networks ("data-stealing") and to prevent interception of potentially bugged conference rooms.

Science and R&D: Shielding of EMI-sensitive facilities and equipment.

Medical: Protection of sensitive technical equipment; to guarantee that important medical data is derived correctly and will not be altered by electromagnetic interference (EMI).

Electronic Industry (e.g. recording studios): To reduce induction and interference. Further applications: data centers, technical rooms, schools, nurseries, hotel rooms, hospital rooms, etc.

Our standard paint for HF! Superior mechanical and chemical properties, combined with a very high ecological standard.

Only recommended when a maximum of ecology is important. Otherwise CPC54 is better in all details.

Only recommended when a very high attenuation is needed. Only on permanently dry  substrates, otherwise corrosion. Very high ecological standard for a silver-/copper paint.
