LBA Technology colocation systems help resolve the critical requirement forwireless antenna space by making thousands of previously forbidden AM broadcast towers available for antenna mounting. Frequently in highly desirable urban locations, AM towers are often easier to zone for antenna colocation than new tower construction. Before LBA CoLoPole™ and CoLoCoil™ systems, the installation of wireless antennas on AM towers was often prohibited by system designers because AM towers are "hot" with RF energy, leading to a history of unsafe and unreliable co-locations. |

However, with a properly designed and installed LBA colocation system, wireless antenna and coaxial cable installations have virtually no effect on host AM towers, and the "hot" AM signal has no effect on the wireless antenna system. LBA Technology CoLoPole™ and CoLoCoil™ systems are suitable for 3G, PCS, Cellular, ESMR, fixed wireless and all other communications services. Virtually unlimited antennas and lines can be collocated, at any power or frequency, with no added loss or VSWR problems. LBA Technology can furnish complete hardware solutions for using AM towers as support for a wide variety of wireless antennas. Our proven technology is cost-effective and fully preserves the functions of the AM station while permitting virtually limitless mounting of wireless antennas and coax lines. Prior FCC approval is not required for CoLoPole™ or CoLoCoil™
installations. The AM station files FCC Form 302 after construction to report
the resultant operating parameters. LBA field engineers normally provide
adjustment and measurement services to certify proper AM operation.
