Antenna Tuning Units
LBA antenna tuning units are designed to match the transmitter
to the impedance of the antenna system. Using Hi-Q components, these networks are designed
for high efficiency and bandwidth. Conservative design allows reliable operation under a
wide range of environmental conditions, at rated power and 125% modulation.
Standard units are available for both series-fed and Tunipole™ antenna systems up to 50 kW. Custom units can be supplied for higher powers.
Normally furnished in weatherproof enclosures, LBA antenna tuning units are also available in open panel and kit forms. Walk-in and custom cabinets are available.
A variety of accessories and options can be furnished, including vacuum capacitors, RF ammeters, remote ammeters, and lightning chokes.
