Affordable, portable, flexible tabletop enclosure systems for RFI / EMI isolation
Faraday cage electromagnetic test enclosures bring convenience to device testing. Ideal for isolating critical systems in high RF environments, or wherever RF ingress or egress must be minimized. Security, biomedical research, and semiconductor testing are only a few of the many areas where faraday cages are employed. These enclosures combine large volumes, high radio frequency isolation, weather-resistance and easy portability with affordable cost. The EMFaraCage® provides an excellent means of equipment isolation in high RF field areas.
Typical Features:
- Three standard sizes available - see table below
- Welded Aluminum construction with gasketed, easy-access door panel
- Interior of high conductivity, bare Aluminum.
- Handles for portability and front panel handling.
- Single point ground stud.
- Up to 70 dB plane wave isolation - 100 kHz to 6 GHz (typical 50 db @ 1 gHz)
I/O plates are provided, populated with customer's choice of Type "N", SMA, BNC, waveguide for optical interface, or panel mount optical connectors. Additional special features are available such as viewing ports, filtered AC power, ferrite tile or other RF absorbers, low frequency magnetic shielding, addition waveguide/vent ports, internal DC battery power with external charger, flexible manipulation ports, high density polypropylene floor and special bulkhead connectors.
