Lawrence Behr
Chief Executive

LBA Group
Lawrence Behr is the
founder of Lawrence Behr Associates, Inc., and subsequently, the LBA Group. A recognized
leader in the telecommunications industry, Mr. Behr's more than thirty years of experience
span the areas of broadcast, military and commercial telecommunications technology. He has
frequently served as an expert witness before the Federal Communications Commission, the
courts and zoning authorities in communications regulatory matters. He presently serves as
a Director of the National Association of Radio and Telecommunications Engineers. He is a
frequent lecturer and author and holds patents on several inventions in antenna
technology. Lawrence is a long-time amateur operation (K4JRZ) and enjoys
hiking and canoeing.
Jerry Brown
Chief Operating Officer and President
LBA Group, Inc.
In his role as President of LBA Group, Jerry Brown oversees the day to day operations of our international equipment manufacturing operation. Brown also remains active as our key business developer handing certain International, Government and Military accounts.
Before being named President of LBA Group in January of 2007, Brown served as Vice President of Sales for the LBA Group, including both LBA Technology, Inc and Lawrence Behr Associates, Inc. Before joining LBA, he was Vice President and General Manager of the Joyner Communications. Brown has also held senior sales positions with Shively Labs and Broadcast Electronics. His experience also includes Vice President and Director of Engineering roles for several major US broadcast groups. Brown holds the Certified Professional Broadcast Engineer designation from the Society of Broadcast Engineers of which he is a Senior Member. He is a member of the UK's Institute of Engineering Technology and the I.E.E.E as well as an Associate Member of The Association of Federal Communications Consulting Engineers.
Wayne Hildebrandt
Chief Financial Officer

Wayne is responsible for LBA Group’s finance operations, treasury and shared services
organizations.
Wayne is a graduate of Loyola College in the City of Baltimore where he earned
a Master of Business Administration Degree with a concentration in Finance. He received
his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration Degree with a concentration
in Public Accounting from East Carolina University,
Greenville, North Carolina. Wayne joined LBA Group on April 17, 2006 after working as Controller for a
multi-state construction supply distributor in the Carolinas.
Wayne has
assumed roles of increasing responsibility throughout his career, mainly in
financial management and in corporate business development.
His experience includes tenure as Accounting Manager for Chemical Specialties
Manufacturing [ChemSpec]; Financial Analyst for Schindler USA; and Controller for Eastern
Aluminum Supply.
Wayne and his wife Penny are actively involved in many of the
ministries at their church, Bethel Free Will Baptist Church, Kinston, North
Carolina. Wayne also is involved in a ministry to men incarcerated at
two prison units at Maury, North Carolina. Wayne finds it very relaxing to work around his home in La Grange, North Carolina,
either in the garden or yard. Playing a round of golf is quickly becoming his second form of
relaxation.

Michael W. Hayden

Mr. Hayden brings to LBA over 30 years of practicing engineering before the Federal Communications Commission. After completing a successful career in the United States Navy where he was active in Anti-submarine Warfare Operations during the height of the Cold War and participated in the Anti-Submarine Warfare development program
for the DD-962 (Spruance Class) destroyer program in Pascagoula, Mississippi, Mr. Hayden entered the Broadcast Engineering Community. During his career in Broadcasting he has held several corporate level positions including Manager of Radio Engineering for the City of New York owned radio stations WNYC & WNYC-FM.
Holding the position of Adjunct Professor in the State of Illinois Community College System, he has developed several curricula pertaining to computer and network systems. During this time he was also an advisor on the Education Advisory Board of the Chicago Public School System.
Mr. Hayden holds a Ship Radar endorsed General Radio Telephone Operator License issued by the Federal Communications Commission, is certified as a Professional Broadcast Engineer and Broadcast Network Technologist by the Society of Broadcast Engineers, and Master Engineer by the International Association for Radio, Telecommunications, and Electromagnetics.
Chris K. Horne

With 15 years experience in the wireless communications industry, Chris has joined LBA as our Chief Technical Officer. He has acquired a masters degree in electrical engineering from NC State and a Docorate from NC A&T.
Chris was RF senior engineer at AT&T Wireless in Greensboro. He later was senior applications engineer at another Greensboro company, RF Micro Devices, a position that required frequent travel to the Far East for consultation with clients and industry specialists. He comes to LBA after 5 years as wireless communications manager at North State Communications in his native High Point, N.C. At North State, Horne managed a multi-million-dollar advanced cellular network, including supervising site construction and overseeing subsequent technical work at new installations.
Byron Johnson
Business Development
Lawrence Behr Associates
Johnson comes to LBA from an FM radio group that operates
five stations across the country – in New Bern, N.C., Flagstaff, Ariz., and
Texarkana, Wichita Falls and Paris, Texas. As operations manager, Johnson
dramatically upgraded the company’s networking system.
He will continue to concentrate on wireless networking in his new position along with broadening LBA’s market share. His initial business development focus is winning consulting contracts with wireless companies. They face a May 1 deadline to meet a FCC's requirement to provide proof of substantial service.
Silver Miller
Consultant
Lawrence Behr Associates
Before coming to LBA, he served as
Director of Global Network Services at iPass, Inc, a VNO providing secure
worldwide internet connectivity for Fortune 2000 companies. His previous industry experience includes
operations management positions at U S West, PCS Primeco, and Nextel. Miller is
an experienced senior-level manager with extensive international experience in
product innovation, organizational leadership, and operations management. His 15+ years experience in the
communications industry includes key roles in the startup, development, and
management of new technology and business with wireless and fixed broadband
companies.
