Brown Named President at LBA

Greenville, NC, 26 January 2007 – Jerry Brown has been named President of LBA Technology, Inc.  Brown will oversee the day to day operations of LBA Technology.  LBA Technology, Inc. is an international supplier of communications products and infrastructure.  LBA Technology’s clients include major US radio broadcasting groups, Department of Homeland Security, the United States Army and Marine Corps, the United Kingdom’s Ministry of Defense, and other NATO nations.

Lawrence Behr, CEO, said, “Jerry brings significant expertise to LBA as it aggressively extends its products into new markets.  His deep understanding of the broadcast market from both the engineering and management perspectives will greatly benefit our customers.”

Brown is a North Carolina native.  Since August of 2005, he has held the position of Vice President of Sales for the LBA Group, including both LBA Technology, Inc and Lawrence Behr Associates, Inc.  Before coming to LBA, he served as Vice President and General Manager of Joyner Broadcasting group.  Formerly, he held senior sales positions with Shively Labs and Broadcast Electronics.  His experience also includes Director of Engineering roles for several broadcast groups.  Brown holds the Certified Professional Broadcast Engineer designation from the Society of Broadcast Engineers of which he is a Senior Member.  He is a member of the UK’s Institute of Engineering Technology and the IEEE.
